(Arizona) – Native American athlete Timothy Johnson (Apache/Sioux) has joined the Arizona Scorpions of the ABA League.
“I look forward to being a part of the Arizona Scorpions organization. The coaches and staff are great and to be practicing and playing with the tyhpe of players that are on this team will be exciting as well as a great experience. Although, I am joining the team and playing professionally, I will be continuing my education and obtain my degree.” said Johnson.
Johnson previously played for the San Carlos Braves for four years where he was an accomplished athlete winning numerous awards for the Braves. Johnson was named a Player of the Year twice and was a part of the AIA All-Section Team. He was nationally ranked in the top 100 high school players by ScoutsFocus.
