MISSOULA, Mont. – Idaho got down early and couldn’t find an answer, falling at top-ranked Montana, 100-59, on Thursday night.
THE GAME
Idaho kept things close in the opening minutes, but a 31-6 run by Montana over the final nine minutes of the half put the Griz up, 59-25, at the break.
The Vandals played better in the second half, switching lines throughout. In the end, Montana took the win, 100-59.
Idaho shot 44.7 percent (21-of-47) from the floor and 38.9 percent (7-of-18) from range. The Vandals committed a season-high 22 turnovers and were outrebounded, 33-22.
