by For the second time this season Montel Carlow a 6’1″ sophomore guard from United Tribes Technical College has been named the Mon Dak Conferences Player of the Week. Carlow averaged 30 points a game including a 39 point outburst against North Dakota State College of Science and had 21 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds helping the Thunderbirds to a win over previously unbeaten Lake Region State College.
Carlow is the Conferences leading scorer and ranks 5th nationally. He currently leads the nation in three pointers made. He is from Ft. Yates, North Dakota, attended Solen High Schol, and is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
