The teams are picked, the gym is scheduled, the uniforms are in, now all that is left is to play the game. The 17th Annual Oklahoma Indian All-State Basketball game is set for June 16th at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Since the inaugural games in 1996, the Indian All-State Games have played host to over 900 of Oklahoma’s most talented American Indian High school seniors. Many of who have gone on to distinguished University careers. These exciting games provide a way of recognizing the Native American student athletes with exceptional abilities. Each year well over 100 nominations are recieved with only 24 boys and 24 girls chosen. The players are selected on the basis of their individual basketball, academic, and extracurricular records. To be selected to Oklahoma Indian All-State is in recognition of hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our Oklahoma Native American student athletes.
The games will take place Saturday, June 16th, 2012 at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville. The girls’ game will start at 6:00 P.M. CST followed by the boy’s game. Adult admission is $6 and students $3
