Sam Bradford to host summer youth football camp

St. Louis Rams starting Quarterback Sam Bradford (Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma tribe) will host a youth summer football camp at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma on July 10th and 11th.

Bradford was the 2008 winner of the Heisman Trophy and was eventually drafted as the number one overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. He still holds the NCAA record for most touchdowns by a Freshman quarterback at 36 while playing for the University of Oklahoma. Sam was also the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2010, nearly leading his squad to the NFL playoffs.

Sponsored by Chesapeake Energy, the camp will take place at the University of Oklahoma Intramural Fields  and is open to boys and girls ages seven to 14.

Each day, the campers will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills of football. Individual groups will be small to assure that each camper gets maximum instruction from the top football coaches in the Norman area.

Campers will participate in daily games, stations, and skill contests during the Sam Bradford Football ProCamp. Each camper will be placed on a team according to his or her age.

The ProCamp costs $199.  Spots are limited so early registration is encouraged.
