by The Arizona Community College Athletic Conference made its selections for All-ACCAC conference and All-Region on Wednesday.
Pima CC sophomore forward Shauna Bribiescas (Navajo) was selected second team All-ACCAC and first team All-Region I, Division II. She was named ACCAC Division II Player of the Week twice this season.
Prior to Tuesday’s game in Glendale, Bribiescas produced nine double-doubles in points and rebounds as she averaged 16.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. She played in all 30 regular season games; making 29 starts.
The Aztecs will be the No. 1 seed for the NJCAA Region I, Division II Tournament. They will host No. 4 Chandler-Gilbert Community College in the semifinal round on Tuesday at the West Campus Aztec Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
