by Sequoia Wheeler (Nez Perce Tribe) was named to the NAIA’s Cascade Collegiate Conference’s All-League squad as a guard. The All-League team was announced on Tuesday by the conference office.
Wheeler, who is currently playing at Multnomah University in Portland, OR, averaged over 16 points per game for the year, with her high total being 29 in a game against College of Idaho on January 12, 2019. Continuing remarkable scoring consistency for her collegiate career, Wheeler also averaged 16 points a game in both her freshman (2016-17) and sophomore (2017-18) seasons.
