WASHINGTON, D.C. – Loyola University Maryland’s Chase Scanlan (Seneca Natino) was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List on Thursday, joining 3 teammates who are among the group vying for the honor as NCAA Lacrosse’s top player this season.
Scanlan is the top-scoring midfielder in Division I through April 10, tallying 34 goals or an average of 3.09 per game for a mark that is tied for 13th overall.
Scanlan’s 34 goals are third-most by a Loyola freshman, trailing only the 37 scored by Lindley last season and Spencer in 2016. He has at least two goals in 10 of the Greyhounds’ games this season and has multiple points in all 11 outings.
