by The Association of Independent Institutions Executive Committee has announced the dates and host sites for the 2019-20 fall, winter and spring sports championship events.
The association will host 11 championships: men’s and women’s cross country, volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer this fall; men’s and women’s basketball in the winter; and men’s and women’s golf, baseball and softball round next spring.
The Haskell Indian Nations University Men’s Cross Country are the defending A.I.I. Conference Champions and the women finished runner-up last season.
The event will be held at the historic campus of HINU in Lawrence, Kansas on the Billy Mills Cross Country Course.
Here are details about each of the 2019-20 A.I.I. Championship events:
Fall Championships
Men’s and Women’s Cross Country – Nov. 9 – Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kan.
Men’s and Women’s Soccer – Nov. 15-16 – Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Volleyball – Nov. 15-16 – Lincoln College in Lincoln, Ill.
Winter Championships
Men’s and Women’s Basketball – Feb. 28-March 1 – Lincoln Christian University and Lincoln College in Lincoln, Ill.
Spring Championships
Men’s and Women’s Golf – April 27-28 – University of Houston-Victoria in Victoria, Texas
Softball – April 30-May 2 – Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Baseball – May 2-5 – Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Ga.
