The Tennessee Titans have Signed Former Ohio Football Standout Papi White (Chickasaw/Seminole) as a Wide Receiver

ATHENS, Ohio — Former Ohio football wide receiver Papi White (Seminole/Chickasaw/Creek) has signed with the Tennessee Titans.

White was initially signed as an undrafted free agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars following the 2019 NFL Draft.

White earned All-Mid-American Conference First Team honors for the first time in his career in 2018 after being named to the Second Team in ’16. He became the first Ohio wide receiver to be named to the All-MAC First Team since Eddie Washington in 1983. White finished the regular season ranked third in the MAC with a career-high 987 receiving yards (third-most in program history) and a career-high nine receiving touchdowns (tied for second-most in program history). White became Ohio’s all-time leader in career receiving yards in 2018 with 2,620, breaking the mark of 2,511 set by LaVon Brazill (2007-11). His 19 career receiving touchdowns are tied for the second-most in school history while his 161 career receptions rank as the fourth-most in school history.

White helped Ohio compile 40 wins over the past five seasons, including back-to-back bowl victories in the 2017 Bahamas Bowl and the 2018 DXL Frisco Bowl.
