BOSTON, Mass. – University at Albany attack Tehoka Nanticoke (Mohawi) has been named America East Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. He was named alongside Defensive Player Ryan Cornell from Vermont and Rookie Ethan Robinson from UMBC.
Nanticoke, a senior from Six Nations, Ontario, scored six goals and recorded three assists in the Great Danes’ lopsided, 17-9 victory at Binghamton over the weekend. Nanticoke’s six goals and nine total points were both single-game career highs. Additionally, Nanticoke recorded his 100th career goal during the game, becoming the 10th men’s player in Division I era program history to reach the milestone.
Nanticoke currently leads UAlbany with 11 goals, seven assists, and 18 total points.
