by Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) senior Sophia Honahni (Hopi/Navajo/Tewa) earned oneo f the Continental Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week awards.
Honahni, the Defender of the Week, recorded 94 digs and averaged 5.88 digs per set. She had 37 digs in a 3-2 loss to Florida National University last Friday at the CAC Classic. The Tuba City, Arizona, native posted 26 digs in a 3-0 sweep against Crowley’s Ridge College (Arkansas) the next day.
