by Haskell Indian Nations University freshman Maria Stewart joined other award winners this week as one of the final Continental Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week award winners for the 2022 season.
Stewart, the Setter of the Week, recorded 59 assists and averaged 7.38 assists per set for the week. She had 41 assists in the Graceland match. The Pryor, Montana, native then added 18 assists against Oklahoma Wesleyan.
The CAC’s top regular-season teams are preparing to compete in the conference championship tournament November 11-12 at Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida. The field includes the host Florida College, defending conference champion Florida National University, Fisher College (Massachusetts), and Haskell Indian Nations.
