AMHERST, N.Y. – Senior Dylan Fasoyiro (Houston, Tex.) scored 23 points and classmate Justin Hemphill (Buffalo, N.Y.) added 22 to lead the Daemen University men’s basketball team to an 86-62 victory over Slippery Rock University tonight at Lumsden Gymnasium on the Daemen campus.
Daemen, which is ranked seventh in the Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) East Region poll, has now won four of its last five games and improved to 5-3 on the year. It marked just the second game for SRU, which dropped to 1-1.
IMPACT PLAYERS
- All five starters scored in double figures for the Wildcats.
- Hemphill made his first start since his freshman season. He was good on 9-of-10 shots from the field and made all four of his free throw attempts. He netted the 22 points (two shy of his career-high) in just 28 minutes of action.
