Williston State (15-2) (8-0) blew out Dakota College of Bottineau by the score of 94-74.
The Tetons took care of business early in the contest by jumping out to a 32-9 first quarter lead. Canzas Hisbadhorse dumped in a career high 30 points which included knocking down 7 of her 10 three-point attempts. Taylor Moffat popped in 17 for the Tetons while Allison Kunze had 16 and Allie Garcia had 12. Tilda Mauritzon had 7, Teah Conradsen had 5 and Cami Harris had 3. Elizabeth Field chipped in with 2 as did Alexis Moline. Field also dished out 6 assists and Kunze was the game’s leading rebounder as she yanked down 13 rebounds.
“That was was quite the clinic they put on that first half”, commented Coach Triplett. “Canzas (Hisbadhorse) played a heck of a game and we’re getting pretty used to Allison (Kunze) putting up a double/double every time she steps on the floor. Our guard play is getting better and better as the season rolls along as well. Elizabeth does a great job of getting teammates the ball and Moffat and Garcia had excellent performances again as well”.
The Tetons travel to Devils Lake on Sunday to take on Lake Region, a red-hot team that has won eight games in a row.
“That will be a tough one”, said Triplett. Ryan (Clark) does a great job with his team and they’re always tough at their house”.
