by Crownpoint, New Mexico – The Navajo Technical University Skyhawk Cross-country team is pleased to welcome Adriana Bochinclonny. She will be pursuing her program in Welding and we cannot wait to see her running with the team with full force.
Adriana said, “I have always enjoyed running and it’s something I wanted to always continue. A quote that I have followed is ‘to live on and prosper,’ this quote means so much to me because it keeps me going, It taught me that life will always continue, to live life peacefully and loving way. Running allows me to regroup myself, It gives me that time to think and just be by myself.”
Adriana’s family are runners and she learned the importance of life and work. Adriana’s parents had a big influence on her where she was taught to go far and to never give up. Her mother also taught her the importance of mental health and how it matters in daily life, so she used that and running together.
