by Florida National University senior Layla Cortez and Florida College senior Madison Lee joined Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) freshman Alaina Dugi in earning the Continental Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week awards for their strong performances on the court.
Dugi, the Defender of the Week, totaled 98 digs to average 6.53 digs per set across four matches. The Tuba City, Arizona, native posted 30 digs in a 3-2 loss to Cottey College (Missouri) last Friday. She added 26 digs in a four-set setback to York University (Nebraska) later in the day.
