NMSU Aggie Volleyball Welcomes Top-15 Teams; Bradley Nash (Navajo) Leads Aggies with 65 Kills So Far this Season

bnash3-2014THIS WEEKEND: The New Mexico State volleyball team (3-3) will co-host the NM State/UTEP Tournament alongside Texas-El Paso this weekend.  The Aggies and Miners welcome two of the best teams in the country, No. 14 Colorado State and No. 9 BYU, to the Southwest.  Both the Rams and the Cougars have only one loss in 2014 and both came at the hands of a top-5 team.

NM State will face the Rams on Friday, Sept. 12, beginning at 7 p.m. (MT) inside the Pan American Center.  The Aggies then face the ninth-ranked Cougars on Saturday, Sept. 13, at noon.  The action inside the Pan Am will begin on Friday at 11 a.m. when the top-15 teams square off against each other.  Colorado State and BYU will also both travel to El Paso, Texas, to face UTEP over the weekend.

Junior outside hitter Bradley Nash (Navajo) leads the Aggies with 65 total kills and a 2.95 kills/set average. Her kills puts her at 8th overall in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and Nash also ranks 9th in the conference in Points per game at 3.43 average.

Both NM State matches this weekend will be aired live over local television and a live webcast at NMStateSports.com by the AggieVision production team.  The AggieVision telecast can be seen in New Mexico on Comcast cable channel 77.  The webcast can be seen online for a fee.

The Altitude Sports Network will also pick up the AggieVision feed.  Altitude can be seen nationally on DirecTV channel 681 and Dish Network channel 413.

ESPN3 will also stream both Aggie matches this weekend.
