Billy Mills, the second Native American to ever win an Olympic Gold Medal. He earned his gold medal in the 10,000 meter run at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. With this win, Billy became the only person from the western hemisphere to win the Olympic gold at that event and it was considered one of the greatest upsets in Olympic history. Billy is a member of the Oglala Lakota (Sioux) Tribe.
