“Overall, the teams ran very well. The women’s team ran great as they finished third overall. They ran strong and confident against some schools that we are not accustomed to seeing,” assistant coach Chris Huff said. “For the men’s team, our top three runners, Hab Rubio, Jereme Santistevan and Nathan Starr competed well during the meet.”

Out of 113 runners for the men and 106 runners for the women during the Rim Rock Classic, both Aggie teams had five runners place in the top 25 on Saturday.

The Aggies have a week off before they head off to Sunnyvale, Calif., to compete at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite.

“We are going to be working really hard this next week to readjust to take on some tough competition in California,” Huff said.

The men’s 8K race will begin at 9 a.m. and the women’s 6K race will begin at 9:45 a.m.
