Caitlyn Ramirez (Seminole) Scores 9 adds 5 steals as Trojans Roll Thomas University, 110-55

DOTHAN, Alabama – Troy set a school record with 27 steals as the Trojans rolled over Thomas University, 110-55, at the Dothan Civic Center on Monday.

The Trojans forced 45 turnovers, the most since at least 2007, and scored 48 points off Thomas miscues.

La’Tia Fils-Aime’ led Troy with a career-high 17 points while Dajia Williams recorded her first career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. In total, four Trojans scored in double figures as Arjae’ Saunders and Claresa Banks scored 12 points each.

Troy (2-1) led for all but 29 seconds of the contest against the NAIA side from Thomasville, Ga., and shot 44 percent (40-90) as a team taking the most shots since firing off 99 attempts at Georgia Southern on Feb. 19, 2015. Troy also scored 28 points from the free throw line in the game.

Caitlyn Ramirez (Seminole Nation) added 9 points for the Trojans and had 5 steals.
