by (Virginia) – The field for the 65th Portsmouth Invitational Tournament has been released and Indian Country’s Bronson Koenig (Ho-Chunk Nation) and Derek Willis (N. Arapaho) were invited to the 64 player roster who will be looked at by scouts from the NBA’s franchises in hopes of improving their NBA Draft stock.
The players have been broken up into eight teams, and action will take place from Wednesday, April 12, through Saturday, April 15.
Koeing will be wearing the No. 12 jersey playing for Team K&D Rounds that will be coached by Jim Markey and Patrick Dulin with NBA Assistant Coach Keith Bogans.
Willis will also wear the No. 12 jersey and will play for Team Sales Systems, Ltd. that will be coached by Kenneth Harris and P.J. Honore, Jr. with NBA Assistant Coach Courtney Alexander
