Macy, NE – The Siouxland Bison of the American Basketball Association have named former Omaha Nation High School Boys and Little Priest Tribal College men’s Coach Barry Webster (Omaha Tribe) as the 1st head coach in franchise history.
“I am proud to have Barry Webster as our new Head Coach” says Bison Chairman and CEO Waylon Oldman. “As a first year head coach, I believe he will do a great job not only as a mentor but as a leader for this talented group of players that we are currently putting together.”
Coach Webster had a stellar basketball career at United Tribes Technical College (UTCC) from 1987-1989. He was inducted into the UTTC College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014.
Coach Webster and his wife Libby have three daughters and three sons and reside in Macy, Nebraska.
