Alexandrea Schulte (Northern Ute tribe) tied for 17th place this past week on the Ladies Suncoast Professional golf tour at the LPGA International golf course in Daytona Beach, Florida held May 1st thru 3rd by Carding a 78-75-75 for a three day total 228. The Naples, Florida resident has now made Top 20 finishes in three tournaments this year. The SunCoast Ladies Series is a professional mini-tour for female competitve amateurs and professionals. The tour operates approximately 25 events a year in the Central Florida area.
Born in Houston, Texas to Robert and Teresa Schulte “Alex” moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and attended Bishop Kelly High School where she won 3 high school state golf chamionships amd numerous junior events around the US. Alex is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas where she played collegeiate golf for four years and earned a degree in communications.
