HEAR FROM THE HAWKS COACH:

Head Women’s Basketball Coach Matt Svehla on sending out his sophomores with a win and the night as a whole:

“Always good to get a win any night, but especially on the last-home night,” Svehla said. “Last night for the sophomores to play on our floor. Happy for them and it’s nice to head into the postseason feeling good about what we got done tonight. I thought we shot the ball really well from three. That’s the best that we’ve shot the ball from three all year collectively as a team.”

Svehla on facing North Iowa Area Community College in the Region 11-B Tournament next:

“They’re good,” Svehla said. “They’re deep. They can beat you with your size, they can beat you with their three-point shooting. They play up-tempo and score a lot of points. We are going to have to be good in a lot of areas.”
