by South Bend, Ind. – Despite a team-best 21 points from senior guard Bethany Baldwin (Forest County Potawatomi ) the Saint Xavier University women’s basketball team (7-7, 5-2 CCAC) dropped a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) matchup to No. 21 Indiana University South Bend by a 73-66 margin Wednesday evening at the Student Activities Center in South Bend, Ind. Baldwin was an efficient 7-for-9 from the field and went 6-for-7 from the foul line. She also added five rebounds and an assist in 34 minutes of action on the court.
Saint Xavier (7-7/5-2 CCAC) makes the short trip to Whiting, Ind. to take on Calumet College of St. Joseph in a CCAC contest on Saturday, January 13. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 pm tipoff.
