After Morganne Comstock tied the game at 62, a pair of baskets by Kylie Huerta– with a Mackenzie make sandwiched in between- gave HPU a 68-62 advantage with 3:10 to go. A Comstock jumper kept the lead at six with 1:33 to play and the Shark defense held down the stretch.
Mackenzie posted a career-high 19 points while grabbing seven rebounds, building the case for another PacWest Freshman of the Week award.
