Clarkston High School standout Kendall Wallace (Umatilla/Nez Perce) will join LC State Women’s Basketball Program for the 2024-25 season

LEWISTON, Idaho – Clarkston High School standout Kendall Wallace became Caelyn Orlandi‘s first signee as a head coach on Thursday. The local product will join LC State Women’s Basketball for the 2024-25 season.

“I am extremely excited that Kendall chose to continue her athletic and academic career as a Warrior,” Orlandi said. “Kendall is an excellent student, a fantastic basketball player, and above all she is a wonderful person. She exemplifies the type of player we want to recruit to our program.”

The 5-5 guard comes from an athletic family including sister Ashlyn who plays basketball at the University of Idaho, and her aunt Natahnee Reynolds who played basketball for the Warriors.

Wallace averaged 15.2 points and 4.2 steals per game last season for the Bantams and currently ranks second all-time in career 3-pointers at Clarkston. In her first three years she helped the team to two district titles and is a three-time all-league selection. Wallace was named the league MVP last season. She maintains a 4.0 grade point average and also competes in volleyball and tennis.

“On the basketball court, Kendall is tough and ready to defend. She can pressure the ball the length of the floor and forces turnovers with her quickness on defense,” Orlandi explained. “She is an excellent 3-point shooter who is always ready to knock down shots and is a player who can see a play ahead to find the open teammate. Kendall is one of those players who is going to work hard every possession, whether in practice or a game, and I am excited for her future as a Warrior.”
