by Crownpoint, NM – On September 27, 2024, Davin Salt from Kayenta, Arizona, signed his letter of intent to join the NTU Men’s Basketball team for the 2024-2025 season alongside Head Coach Michael McMillan.
Davin earned his spot on the team through open tryouts, demonstrating his defensive skills. A recent Monument Valley High School graduate, he is excited to continue playing basketball while pursuing a higher education at NTU. Inspired by his background in the field, he plans to earn an electrical trades certificate.
Both NTU basketball teams will take the court this Thursday at the Wildcat Den in Chinle, Arizona, for a preseason matchup against Eastern Arizona College. Tickets are $5, with doors opening at 4 PM. The women’s game will tip off at 5 PM, followed by the men’s game after the women’s matchup.
