(Bryson City, NC) – Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians football player Greg Tisho, from Swain county high school, has been named to the 2012 NCPreps.com’s pre-season all-state team. North Carolina high school football coaches participated in the selection of the pre-season All-State teams.
Tisho, who will be a senior this season and recently transferred to Swain county from cherokee High school, sat a single season recieving record with 1,040 yards for the Braves. He was selected to the All-Smoky Mountain Conference during his junior campaign with a team high 11 receiving touchdowns last season despite playing his last game with the Braves in late October.
An all around athlete, Tisho was also named to the Smoky Mountain conference All-Conference basketball team as a junior with Swain county despite transferring in mid-season.
