by SEATTLE — Junior outside hitter Emoni Bush is suiting up once again for the Canadian National Team as she is set to take part in the NORCECA Pan American Cup Final Six. Bush and Team Canada start competition on Thursday, June 27, in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
The Final Six features Canada, the USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Cuba. This is the fourth edition of the tournament and it will run until June 30.
Canada opens on Thursday against Mexico at 2 p.m. PT, and then plays the United States on Friday at 2 p.m. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday and the finals on Sunday, June 30.
Bush is a native of Campbell River, Canada in British Columbia. It will be a welcome return to high-level competition as Bush had to redshirt the 2023 collegiate season coming back from a shoulder injury. As a sophomore in 2022, Bush was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention ranking second on the team with 3.13 kills per set.
