A productive week has earned Haskell Indian Nations University (Kansas) sophomore Nahcs Wahwassuck recognition as the Continental Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The Mayetta, Kansas, native averaged 26.7 points, eight rebounds and 3.3 steals in three games. He made 13 of 17 field goals to score 32 points to go along with having eight rebounds in a 107-97 loss to Voorhess University (South Carolina) last Saturday.
One day earlier, the combo player had a double-double performance with 25 points and 10 rebounds in a 68-54 victory against Washington Adventist University (Maryland). He added five steals in the victory.
Wahwassuck opened the week by scoring 23 points in a loss at Columbia College (Missouri).
