Meanwhile, Becenti, the Setter of the Week, posted 80 assists and averaged 8.89 assists per set in a pair of victories. The La Plate, New Mexico, native had 44 assists in a five-set victory against Cottey College (Missouri) last Thursday. Becenti recorded 36 assists in a 3-1 win against Baptist Bible College (Missouri) last Friday. The freshman also tallied 20 digs for the week.
Pelt, the Defender of the Week, recorded 66 digs to help the team post a 2-1 record for the week. The Albuquerque, New Mexico, native had 33 digs against Cottey before tallying 20 digs against Baptist Bible.
