by (California) – Janee’ Kassanavoid (Comanche Tribe) will be competin in the hammer throw g on Sunday, June 25th, at the U.S. Track and Field Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California.
A two-time Outdoor All-American in the hammer throw, Kassanavoid is coming off a fourth-place finish at NCAA Championships on June 8 that earned her First Team All-American honors with a mark of 218-05 (66.58m). She captured three hammer throw titles this Spring, including the Big 12 Championships on May 12. She had a school-record toss of 219-08 (66.97m) in the event at the Texas Invitational on April 14.
