(San Diego, CA) – Lauren Schad (Cheyenne River Sioux) was one of five University of San Diego women’s volleyball players to have earned All-West Coast Conference honors, the league announced Monday afternoon. Schad was named first-team All-WCC.
Schad takes home first-team honors for the first time in her career, after a stellar senior campaign. Schad was second on the team in kills with 262 (2.79 kps), while hitting for a .410 clip. She was also second on the team in blocks with 66, and with these 66 blocks, she moved herself into 10th all-time at USD in career blocks. Schad was named WCC Player of the Week once this season.
