LAWRENCE, Kan. – Oklahoma City University’s Mackenzie Wahpepah-Harris (Kickapoo Tribe) notched a first-place finish in the Kansas Relays Friday at Rock Chalk Park.
Wahpepah-Harris, a sophomore from Norman, Okla., finished first in the 1,500 meter run with a personal best time of three minutes, 50.26 seconds and qualified for an A standard.
OCU’s Kyle Wardwell, a junior from Norman, Okla., placed fourth in the 10,000 meters with a time of 31:16.86 and set a personal best and a B standard. Hunter Swink, a junior from Oklahoma City, competed in the 800 and crossed at 2:00.95.
The Stars compete in the Drake Relays Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.
