LENWOOD, Minn. – The University of Minnesota women’s golf team competed at the UMN Morris Invite Friday, hosted by the Minnewaska Golf Course.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars finished first with a score of 390 (+102).
- Payton Sierra (Oglala Lakota) and Trinity Erickson tied for first with a score of 92 (+20). Sierra was named the winner via a scorecard playoff.
- Tori Grates finished fourth with a 99 (+27).
- Kaya Quinn tallied a fifth-place finish with her score of 107 (+35).
- Brittany Lormis tied for sixth with a 110 (+38).

- Sierra won her fourth career event and her second of the season.
