Sheridan Flauger (Oneida) scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to secure her first career double double for UW-Parkside

KENOSHA, Wis. — The Parkside women’s basketball team returned to De Simone Arena to round out this week’s GLIAC action against Saginaw Valley State on Saturday afternoon. The Rangers were looking for revenge after dropping the first meeting of the year over in Michigan, and do so successfully winning 80-57.

“Big home win against SVSU! Really pleased with how we bounced back- thought we made better decisions offensively and locked in defensively. Overall, solid performance from our team from start to finish. We need to clean up some details, like our press break, but will continue to get after it on practice Monday,” said Jen Conely after the victory.

Inside the Box Score

  • The Rangers offense had a strong showing in the victory. Four players reached double digits in the scoring column and the Rangers racked up 80 points. Parkside as scored at least 80 points now seven times this year and are undefeated when reaching that minimum total.
  • Sheridan Flauger scored 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to secure her first career double double. Flauger also dished out six assists, one short of a season high she set back in November.
