Arkansas-Monticello’s Kennedy Cox and Henderson State’s Miyah Jackson shared Player of the Week while Southern Nazarene’s Janie Worthington earned Pitcher of the Week.

Worthington picked up her first two wins of the season as she defeated Maryville and Pittsburg State at the UCO-OC Classic. She surrendered only two hits and struck out eight in 5.0 innings of work against Maryville. She recorded a five-hit complete-game win against Pittsburg State as the Crimson Storm ended the Gorillas’ eight-game season-opening win streak.
