DADE CITY, Fla. – The Marshall women’s golf team completed the second round of the Conference USA Championships on another stormy day at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. Senior Stormy Randazzo (Mvskoke Creek/Seminole) had a great finish with four birdies in her final seven holes.
The Thundering Herd is in 10th place. The teams just barely managed to finish the second round before another wave of thunderstorms moved across the area. Round three begins Wednesday morning with Marshall’s players teeing off between 8-8:40 a.m. Live scoring is provided by GolfStat.com.
“Proud of the fight from the team today,” Herd head coach Brooke Burkhammer said. “It’s been a tough tournament so far weather wise, but we continue to show grit. Excited to see how we finish up tomorrow.”
