GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Oct 22, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Women’s Cross Country took on top NAIA competition in Michigan, finishing 11th as a team highlighted by a 3rd place finish by Sydney Little Light.
Little Light (Crow) finished the 5K race in 17:31.2 to give her third place for the race. Jayden Woodland and Kallyn Wilkins ran personal bests in Michigan, as Woodland ran an 18:42.0 to finish in 37th place and Wilkins ran 19:20.1 to finish in 64th. Chloe Bryntesen finished in 20:04.0 and Rylie Schoenfeld finished in 20:24.3 to round out the Battlin’ Bears scorers. Tyne Stokes finished in 21:51.3, Violet Carter finished in 23:39.9, and Cora Moriarty finished in 24:18.0.
Rocky XC will host the Rocky XC invite at Riverfront Park on Tuesday, October 25th, before the Frontier Conference Championships on Friday, November 4th in Helena.
