by Waterville, ME – Tatum Lafrance (Mohawk) and Jenna Roat have been named the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Volleyball Player and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, as announced on Monday.
Lafrance was outstanding averaging 2.89 kills and 2.56 digs per set as the Roos split a pair of matches at their home tri-match last weekend. The junior opened the weekend with seven kills and 10 digs in a four set loss to Elmira. Lafrance led the team to a thrilling comeback from two sets down and trailing 11-3 in the fifth set to earn a 16-14 win v. Plattsburgh. She totaled 19 kills (.349 hitting percentage) to go with 13 digs in the 3-2 win.
