by Canton, NY – Tatum Lafrance (Mohawk), a junior on the women’s volleyball team, has been named this week’s Roo of the Week.
Lafrance was outstanding averaging 2.89 kills and 2.56 digs per set as the Roos split a pair of matches at their home tri-match last weekend. The junior opened the weekend with seven kills and 10 digs in a four set loss to Elmira. Lafrance led the team to a thrilling comeback from two sets down and trailing 11-3 in the fifth set to earn a 16-14 win v. Plattsburgh. She totaled 19 kills (.349 hitting percentage) to go with 13 digs in the 3-2 win.
