Tiara Gilham (Blackfeet) Leads MSU-Northern with 19 points, 15 rebounds in Weekend Sweep of Rocky Mountain College

The MSU-Northern Skylights beat Rocky Mountain College 65-56 on Sunday in Havre, Montana. The Skylights jumped on them in their first quarter taking the lead by seven (18-11). Northern kept a steady lead going into half time 30-22.
The Skylights went on a 9-0 run to start the third quarter. The Battlin’ Bears turned it around and went on a 12-0 run to cut the lead to two. Northern was able to keep the lead through out the fourth quarter to pull the win.

Individual Stats:
The Skylights were led by Tiara Gilham (Blackfeet), who had a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Peyton Kehr had 11 points going 3-4 from the three. Allix Goldhahn and Mckenzie Gunter each had nine points.

The Battlin’ Bears were led by Kloie Thatcher, who had 22 points going 8-19 from the field. Mackenzie Dethman had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Shauna Bribiescas added 10 points

Stats of the Game:
The MSU-Northern Skylights shot a field goal percentage of 36, 36 percent from the arc, and 73 percent from the free throw line.

Rocky shot 36 percentage from the field, 26 percent from the 3-point line, and 60 percent from the free throw.

The Skylights are 4-9 in the overall season and 3-6 in the Frontier Conference.
