Jeremy Iron and Gene Big Soldier III have officially signed away their Pawhuska orange for some Haskell purple.

On Feb. 7 at Pawhuska High School the two signed their letters of intent to play football at Haskell Indian Nations University.

“I’m pretty excited,” Iron said. “I’m ready to pad up. I miss not being in football pads, and football season, so when I get up there I’ll be itching to get back in.”

The two are both football players and wrestlers. Iron, 18, was an offensive lineman on the football team and Big Solider, 17, a defensive end and wide receiver.
