University at Albany graduate student Jakob Patterson (Seneca Nation) has been added to the 2021 Tewaaraton Watch List

WASHINGTON, D.C. – University at Albany graduate student Jakob Patterson (Seneca Nation) has been added to the 2021 Tewaaraton Watch List, the foundation announced Friday. 
 
Patterson, an attack from Chandler, Ariz., was one of 15 players added to the list following the initial announcement of 55 players on March 11.  Patterson joins the watch list with four other America East players, Thomas McConvey and Michael McCormick from Vermont, and Dylan Pallonetti and Cory VanGinhoven from Stony Brook.
 
Patterson has played in five of six games for UAlbany so far this season, scoring eight goals and recording 17 assists to lead the Great Danes with 25 total points.  He currently leads the America East in total assists and ranks third in total points.
 
2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the Tewaaraton Award, which honors the nation’s top men’s and women’s collegiate lacrosse player.  Following this preordained expansion, the list will contract to 25 on April 23, before this year’s five finalists are announced in May.
