by INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After picking up two impressive road wins at Wright State and Northern Kentucky this weekend, junior Hailey Oskey (Oneida) has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week.
Oskey started the weekend with a season-high 22 points to go with eight rebounds in just 25 minutes in a 73-51 win over Wright State. She followed that performance up with 22 more points on 8-of-12 shooting in a 67-58 win over Northern Kentucky, who came into the game on a 10-game win streak. The guard was extremely efficient all weekend, shooting 59.3-percent from the field and 66.7-percent from three across the two games. Over her last six games, Oskey is averaging 16.8 points and 3.3 rebounds.
