WSU senior linebacker Peyton Pelluer (Nez Perce Tribe) was in the right spot at the right time as BSU quarterback Montell Cozart attempted an ill-advised shovel pass while being dragged to the turf. The ball went right to Pelluer, who raced 36 yards for a touchdown to cut BSU’s lead to 31-24 with 5:51 remaining. Pelluer finished with a team-high 14 tackles.
It was his second career INT, first INT returned for touchdown since Luani vs. Oregon State in 2015.
